SAN DIEGO

PITA 22

This tenant improvement project features a modern, fresh design with an overlay of Middle Eastern vernacular to reflect the restaurant concept. The front counter showcases a graphic tile reminiscent of Middle Eastern tile patterns. The long, rough brick wall is evocative of ancient buildings clad in Jerusalem stone. Warm wood planks serve as the backdrop for the black and white logo and soften the cool tones of the brick and tile. Mid-century black and white globe lights float above the booths at the rear of the restaurant, thereby emphasizing the perspective, while simultaneously introducing a sleek, modern aesthetic. A yellow neon sign above the beverage station adds a pop of color, and a bit of whimsy, highlighting the restaurant’s namesake.
